World peace begins with inner peace. ~ Dalai Lama
Personally, I like to say world peace begins with a massage! When we feel good inside and out, we show up as our better selves, enjoying life, love and those around us. My first interest in becoming a massage therapist was sparked when I was a student of Social Work at USF back in the early 90’s. There, I met a fascinating clinical social worker/massage therapist who specialized in helping people release trauma stored in the body. I wanted to be just like her! But instead, life took me down many different paths including raising children and trying a variety of jobs. Still, the heartfelt desire to help others in their healing journey remained deep within me. Fast forward to the point where my children were grown and out of the house, I finally had the chance to fulfill a life-long dream of thru-hiking the Appalachian Trail. It was there in those woods, as I made my way north on the 2175 mile trek, with plenty of time to reflect, I decided once and for all to pursue the other postponed goal of becoming a massage therapist. It has been one of the best decisions I ever made. The rest is history as they say. Together we can help you reach your wellness goals and to feel better naturally. We will employ a variety of bodywork techniques, encourage you to take good care of yourself at home and at work while you seek to live a life that you love and enjoy.
